It would appear that following the loss of the car port (should this application be approved) there would still be sufficient space within the front garden area to park a minimum of 2 cars off-street (possibly 3). Furthermore from looking at aerial imagery it would appear that vehicles already use the front garden area for car parking. Therefore I would not wish to raise any objections to this application from a highway viewpoint and recommend that Standing Advice is applied.
