My comments on the proposed changes to the conditions attached to the previous grant of permission relate to condition 6 (Construction Traffic Management Plan).Whilst it is noted that the wording of this condition relates to the traffic impacts associated with the construction works, when assessing the original application the LHA would have included any potential demolition works within the CTMP as this phase of the construction works would undoubtedly have had an associated traffic impact. Therefore the LHA cannot agree to the current amended wording put forward by the applicant which would allow the demolition works to come forward without reference to a CTMP.
However, if the applicant were to submit a CTMP which assessed traffic impacts associated with the demolition stage of the works only (with a wider CTMP submitted for the remainder of the works prior to those works starting) then I can confirm that such an approach would be acceptable to the LHA.
