In respect of the discharge of Condition 5 (Construction Traffic Management Plan), no information has been provided in respect of the following:- Number and size of vehicles expected during the construction works;
- Arrangements for the parking of contractors vehicles.
It is noted that much of this information will be provided once the contractor for the works has been appointed. Therefore subject to the points made above being addressed, I will then be in a position to recommend in support of the discharge of this condition.

I have now reviewed the information submitted for the discharge of conditions and would wish to respond as follows:Condition 4 (Pedestrian Accessibility Audit)
Whilst a comprehensive audit has been undertaken it does not address the needs of partially sighted pedestrians using the identified routes. A lack of any accidents does not infer that existing pedestrian infrastructure is of a standard adequate to cater for the increase in pedestrian movements that will arise as a result of the development at Alma Yard.
Tactile paving should be provided across the junction of Clare Place/Sutton Place with St Johns Bridge Road whilst a further dropped kerb tactile crossing should be provided on St Johns Bridge Road immediately to the north of the site access which would cater for those pedestrian movements approaching from the north who, for various reasons, would not want to use the cobbled service lane which serves Alma Cottages.
Subject to the above-mentioned works being included with the Section 278 Agreement that will be required to deliver the new section of footway on St Johns Bridge Road, I would then be in a position to recommend the discharge of this particular condition.
