As the proposed mast and associated equipment is located within the grass verge at the back of the footway (rather than within the footway itself), I would not wish to raise any in-principle objections to this proposal from a LHA viewpoint.However, it would be preferable if an alternative door arrangement could be found for the cabinet in order to prevent the doors from opening outwards over the public highway which is an offence under the provisions of the Highways Act 1980. Sliding doors would be an acceptable alternative.
