CONSULTEE: Gary Lester (Transport Officer)
PCC Strategic Planning & Infrastructure, Transport Planning Team, Floor 2 Ballard House PL1 3BJ

COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principal to the proposed instillation of nine in number Electric Vehicle charging points, a Substation, and associated Totem. The proposal requires the re-arrangement of the car park, with a resultant small loss of seven in number car parking spaces, reducing the total number of parking spaces from 548, down to 541 spaces.
This current proposal to provide Electric Vehicle charging points is also shown in and formed part of the associated advertisement application (number 23/00393/ADV) for a 'freestanding Totem'. To which the LHA raise no objections in their reply of the 21 Mar 2023.
SUMMARY:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principal to the proposed instillation of Electric Vehicle charging points, a substation, and associated totem. No objections
