Due to existing hardstanding and non-existing biodiverse habitat, we accept the installation of 3 bird boxes for the site as biodiversity enhancement. We recommend the following condition for the biodiversity enhancement:

Condition: Ecological Mitigation (Bird boxes )
The installation of 3 enclosed bird boxes within the fabric of the building, and, hedgehog hole within the sites boundary where applicable. Plans for the specification and locations of these within the building or site are to be submitted and approved in writing to the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: In the interests of the retention, protection and enhancement of wildlife and features of biological interest, in accordance with Joint Local Plan Policies SPT12 & DEV26 and Government advice contained in the NPPF (2021) paragraphs 153, 174, 175, 179 and 180.
