Further to the highway consultation response made in respect of the previous application (no 23/00238/FUL) which raised concerns over the loss of car parking, the applicant has now provided a further site layout plan which shows that by hardsurfacing the entire front garden area that 2 off-street car parking spaces of sufficient dimensions can be provided. It would appear that both of these spaces could be served from the existing vehicular access although they could not be used independently of one another.

On the basis that 2 off-street car parking spaces of sufficient dimensions can be provided, I would not wish to raise any objections to this application from a LHA viewpoint and would recommend that Standing Advice is applied.
