Summary of comments:
Corten is a obviously a good quality robust material, which weathers attractively with a natural patina.  It makes a positive link with Millbay's port industrial heritage and we welcome its use here.  However, there can be issues with staining run-off from Corten. We would therefore seek a small drip tray be incorporated into the fence design to at least mitigate and reduce the amount of run off.  Even if staining is not visible on the black bricks, there is a risk it will be when the run-off reaches the silver granite paving below.
Following receipt of drainage plan - The drip detail is a welcome amendment which I am happy to support.

It would be useful to see a sample of the Corten, even if it is a small sample in an unoxidised state, so we can assess the proposed perforation density of the fence panels.
Following receipt of a sample - If we have enough flexibility to review / control the appearance of the perforations later I'm happy that the principle of using Corten can be agreed.
