Dear Sam
Highway Authority Consultation Response to a Planning Application
APPLICATION NO: 24/00399/FUL
SITE: BLOCK 2, GILWELL HOUSE, TAVISTOCK PLACE, PLYMOUTH
DEVELOPMENT: Replacement cycle store
Observations:
Whilst the LHA have no in-principle objections to the replacement cycle storage facility, it is not clear from the drawings how cycles will be stored within the structure as there appears to be no proposed racking system or cycle hoops to which cycles can be secured?
Subject to the applicant being able to detail how the storage area will function in terms of security and the storage of cycles (also confirming how many cycles could be accommodated in the previous store compared to the capacity of the new replacement in order to ensure that there has been no overall reduction in numbers), I would then be able to recommend in support of this application.
Recommendation:
The Highway Authority is currently unable to recommend in support of this application until the above-mentioned comments have been addressed.
