The design and access statement makes the case for the loss of 2 dwellings situated alongside the existing Care Home - to allow space for a more organised extension to significantly expand the Care Home. The demographic trends confirm that a better choice of housing options and Care Home provision should be made for Older people. For this reason, given the proposals in this case the Housing Delivery Team would not raise objections to the proposed loss of 2 dwellings.
