Dear Sam
Highway Authority Consultation Response to a Planning Application
APPLICATION NO: 24/00839/ADV
SITE: PHARMACY, 20 BISHOPS PLACE, WEST HOE ROAD, PLYMOUTH
DEVELOPMENT: Shopfront signage associated with pick-up prescription collection machine
Observations:
Although the LHA have no in-principle objection to the proposed signing, there are likely to be concerns with regard to the proposed prescription collection machine itself (possible on-street car parking issues associated with such a use). However, it is my understanding that a further application is expected relating to the principle of the collection machine in this location and as a result any concerns relating to the dispensing machine (and impacts upon the local highway network) would be commented upon as part of the determination of that particular application.
Recommendation:
The Highway Authority has no objections to planning permission being granted.
