CONSULTEE: Gary Lester (Transport Officer)
PCC Strategic Planning & Infrastructure, Transport Planning Team, Floor 2 Ballard House PL1 3BJ
Date: 13th March 2025
COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principle to the proposed installation of jet wash facilities, along with the creation of an EV Charging Zone with associated, substation, LV panel, and accommodation works; situated within the Morrisons Pomphlett site.
The car jet wash bays would be accommodated and situated within the footprint of the existing Fuel Filling Station. Whilst the EV charging zone, comprising of Charging Points, Substation, LV Panel, and associated works, would be situated in the supermarket car park opposite the Fuel Filling Station, as shown on the location plan. The provision of the six EV charging car parking spaces would take in fourteen of the existing car parking spaces. Including the loss of eight of the existing car parking spaces that would be needed to accommodate the associated EV charging equipment and infrastructure, Substation, LV Panel, and accommodation works.
SUMMARY:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principle to the proposed installation of car Jet Wash facilities at the fuel Filling Station, along with the creation of an EV Charging Zone within the supermarket car park.
