COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) has been consulted on the proposed discharge of the following planning conditions of application 21/02121/FUL: -
1: Approved Plans. ¿ 2: Commence Within 3 Years. - 3: Cycle Parking Prior To Erection of Fencing. - 5: Bird and Bat Bricks. - 6: Fence Details. - 7: Ecological Impact Assessment.

It is only planning condition 3 Cycle Parking that is a transport related condition for comment by the LHA. The application details confirm that space to accommodate thirty-six spaces for cycle storage has been retained in the pre-existing storage sheds that serve the flats.

This is also in accordance with the previously consented S73 application 22/00652/S73 - For the removal/variation of conditions 1 Approved Plans, and 3 Cycle Parking (of application 21/02121/FUL) that retains the pre-existing storage buildings serving the flats that would also be used to accommodate cycle storage, as part of the retention of garages and out-buildings, as shown on the associated approved Site Plan - 200556 AP(9)02 B. With the need to provide cycle parking for an overall number of thirty-six bicycles (or otherwise provided in accordance with the SPD at a ratio of one space per bedroom) securely stored within the storage sheds.

SUMMARY:
The LHA considers that the Cycle Parking Planning Condition 3 of the current application has been satisfied with the application confirming the retention of the existing storage units serving the flats that can accommodate cycle parking.
