COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principle to the proposed Change of use from retail (Class E) to dwelling (Class C3).

The application property is a dwelling house with a shop at the front on the ground floor, located in Abbotts Road, which is predominantly a residential street in the Peverell area of the city. Most of the properties have no off-street parking, with occupiers parking in the local streets where parking is unrestricted.

Referring to the application details, the proposed Change of Use would take-in and convert the shop into part of the existing residential use, to create a four-bedroom house. Therefore, the proposal would not have any material transport or highway impacts.

SUMMARY:
The LHA would not wish to raise any objections to the proposed Change of Use to a dwelling house.
