Dear Marie
Highway Authority Consultation Response to a Planning Application
APPLICATION NO: 24/01225/CDM
SITE: DERRIFORD HOSPITAL, DERRIFORD ROAD, PLYMOUTH
DEVELOPMENT: Condition Discharge: Conditions 13 (Street Details), 18 (Landscaping) and 19 (Renewable Energy) of 24/00548/S73 (original application ref: 23/00031/FUL10)
Observations:
Having reviewed the information submitted for the discharge of Condition 13 (Street Details), the LHA can recommend that this condition be discharged subject to clarification on the following minor points:
' No details appear to have been provided in respect of the lighting of the carriageway and footway areas. As this forms part of the street details, this information should be shown on the drawings.
' I'm assuming that the entrance to the cycle store area would be directly off the car parking area? This should be clarified.
Recommendation:
The Highway Authority recommends that the following conditions can be discharged:
Condition 13 (Street Details)

I've reviewed the submitted document by Hulley & Kirkwood (Approved Document L, Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 2: Buildings other than Dwellings Compliance Assessment) which demonstrates compliance with the condition by proposing the installation of solar PV which will achieve a 22.8% carbon reduction.
