Whilst the proposed changes will lead to the loss of the existing garage to the rear of the property, the driveway in front of it scales 10.9m in length which is long enough to accommodate 2 vehicles parked off-street. Such a level of car parking is in accordance with the indicative parking standards as set out within the Development Guidelines SPD for a residential property of this size. Therefore the LHA would not wish to raise any in-principle objections to this application.
