The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any in-principles to the proposed development.It is recommended that a garage door condition is attached to any grant of planning consent to ensure that the door type is not one which opens out over the public highway when operated.

GARAGE DOOR TYPE (ADJACENT TO HIGHWAY)
The door to the garage hereby permitted shall be of a type that does not project beyond the face of the garage when open or being opened.
Reason:
To ensure that the door does not project over the adjacent highway at any time in the interest of public safety in accordance with Policy DEV29 of the Plymouth and South West Devon JLP 2019.
The proposed development has been considered in accordance with the Councils current Development Plan Policies and having regard for the National Planning Policy Framework.
