LLFA consultation response 24.01375.FUL.pdfHighway Authority
Comment Date: Wed 13 Nov 2024
Further to my previous highway consultation response, the applicant has now provided a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP).Overall the CTMP is well-written and has addressed many of the areas of concern. I have consulted with colleagues in our Highways Network Management Team who are generally happy with the content of the CTMP and have highlighted the need for the applicant to apply for the necessary highway permits. It was also noted that the use of the on-road disabled parking bays on the un-named service road off Mayflower Street will require sign-off by PCC and if approved, will require a TTRO.

Whilst the LHA would not wish to raise any objections in respect of the works to replace the windows at The Moneycentre, considering the city centre location of the site the traffic impacts of the construction works will have to be carefully managed. I would therefore recommend that a condition be attached to any grant of consent which necessitates the submission of a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP).
