With regards to the change of use of the former Chapel to 6 dwellinghouses the ED team has no in principle objections. ED would, however, like to flag that the proposed new housing will be positioned opposite to an industrialised site, and as such consideration within the development proposal should be given to safeguarding the businesses that operate in the area from any future conflict with residents. This is inline with point 3. of Policy Dev 14 of the Joint Local Plan.
