Thank you for consulting Historic Environment about the above condition discharge application related to 23/00311/LBC. The application is for the discharge of condition 12 (Lounge Bar).12 CONDITION: LOUNGE BAR
Prior to commencement of works to the Lounge Bar, final details of proposed works to the bar
including the final design, finish, material and security shutter design, shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
The development shall be carried out at all times in strict accordance with the approved details
We have reviewed the submitted information and consider the proposed lounge bar acceptable in design and material finish, meeting the requirements of the condition and responding well to the sensitive historic interior within the Guildhall. As such we recommend discharge of condition 12.
