COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principle to the discharge of the following Planning Conditions relating to Phase 1.1 Parcel B, Hercules Road, Sherford, namely conditions: -

8: Retaining Walls
9: Boundary Wall Details
10: Mews Streets and Parking Courtyards

In accordance with the following four drawings titled and numbered 'Sherford New Town - Phase 1 (Part) - Parcel B': '

Referring to the condition discharge details: -
Condition 3- The applications details inform that the road around parcel B has been fully completed and was completed in a single phase. With a request that this condition is discharged for the whole parcel:
The LHA has no objections to this condition being discharged including for the whole parcel as requested:
Condition 8 ' Details inform there are no retraining walls within parcel B:
As there are no retaining walls within this parcel then the LHA has no objections to this condition being discharged for this parcel only (Parcel 'B' of part of Phase 1):
Condition 9 ' Details for the boundary walls show a white render finish, with brick on edge on tile creasing, with 440x440mm piers. Mortar will be Gen 2 Silomate Mortar M6 colour code Y57. With a request that this condition is discharged for the whole parcel:
The drawing shows boundary walls and piers up to 2 metres high and notated that the walls / piers are as detailed elsewhere. The LHA has no objections to this condition being discharged for the whole parcel as requested:
Condition 10 ' Details of the parking courtyard show surfacing comprising of a flexible blacktop finish, with granite setts; parking spaces delineated using granite setts and numbered in white thermoplastic paint; and drained using 'Aco' drainage channels:
