COMMENTS:
The Local Highway Authority (LHA) would not wish to raise any objections in principle to the proposed detached single storey garage.

Where, with the consent of the LHA, alterations to the vehicle footway crossing in the street have previously been undertaken to rectify what was an existing unauthorised vehicle crossing. Alterations that including the construction of a new repositioned vehicle footway crossing that aligns with the current planning proposal.

It is incidentally noted that although the proposed garage at the front of the property would have a considerable footprint being approximately 7500 x 5500mm on its two longest sides, it is of an irregular right-angled triangular shape so would only practically be able to accommodate one car.

SUMMARY:
Accordingly, the LHA would not raise any objections to the proposed development.
