Thank you for consulting Historic Environment about the above condition discharge application for works to Flat 5, 24 Elliot Street that were consented in application 25/00052/LBC. Comments have been offered below in relation to both condition 3 (Stairs and Handrails) and condition 4 (Window Details)

3 CONDITION: STAIRS AND HANDRAILS

Before any access stair case or hand railing is installed or altered, a detailed specification including final design, method of fixing and installation and materials for the proposed external access stair, including alterations or loss of existing railings hereby granted consent shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The works shall be carried out only in accordance
with the agreed materials.

- The details submitted satisfy the requirements of condition 3 and are considered acceptable, as such we recommend discharge of condition 3.

4 CONDITION: WINDOW DETAILS

Before the windows and doors hereby approved are installed, details of their material, design, specification, method of opening, method of fixing and finish, in the form of drawings and sections of no less than 1:20 scale, shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The works shall be carried out only in accordance with the agreed window and door details.

- The submitted window casement details satisfy the requirements of condition 4 and are considered acceptable, as such we recommend discharge of condition 4.
