Due to the unique location and importance of off street parking provision the Local Highway Authority (LHA) would require further information regarding the nature and scale of the development before offering support for the principle of an extension to the donor property and change of use from garage to dwelling. The LHA notes that there are two existing provisions for off street parking for the existing donor property (by way of two separate garages and hardstands) and so the potential to accommodate policy compliant highway access and indicative parking provision for both donor property and new property exists.
