Highway Authority Consultation Response to a Planning Application


APPLICATION NO: 25/00778/MJR

SITE: THE MONEYCENTRE, 1 DRAKE CIRCUS, PLYMOUTH

DEVELOPMENT: Pre-application for external alterations including changes to windows and internal alterations


Observations:

Having viewed the plans submitted for the proposed amendments to the scheme, I can confirm that there would be no objections to such from a LHA viewpoint were a planning application to be submitted relating to such.

With regard to the changes to the cycle store (converting the office to a cycle store), the only comment I would wish to make is identifying the need for the cycle store to be able to provide enough space to accommodate a minimum of 148 bicycles.

It is also noted that it is the intention for the number of residential units to increase from 105 to 106. Such a change would not give rise to any cause for concern in terms of trip generation or car parking provision (due to the city centre location of the site and the opportunities that exist to access sustainable modes of travel).
