Further to our comments at pre-app stage, Economic Development would not wish to see the site be used as a temporary car park. This use would support minimal new jobs locally and would not add much in the way of vibrancy to the area.Should the LPA be minded to allow the site to be used as a temporary car park we would ask that a condition be placed on this to define a timeframe for how long the car park can remain in place. We would also ask for a stipulation be applied to the decision stating that no extensions to original period will be allowed.
