The Local Highway Authority LHA would be unlikely to object to the principal of a dwelling as suggested. This would be dependent on submission of an acceptable design that was in keeping with standing guidance. In particular the Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and within this particularly section DEV29. The LHA would include consideration of cycle and vehicle parking in relation to proposed number of bedrooms. We would also check aspects such as potential ability to turn a vehicle and enter and exit in forward gear along with gradient of driveway and drainage and geometry of any driveway and hardstand and possible garage and EV charging. Among other aspects visibility should also be considered for pedestrian and driver safety in particular regarding existing access / egress from any neighbouring dwellings.
